The Chief Organiser was Dr. Meena Kumari supported by Dr. Ankita and Dr. Niharika. Dr. Namita Nagar and Ms. Shreya Shukla also addressed the audience.The CSO team members were Dr. Sushma Narayan, Ms. Anuja Agarwala, Dr. Naina Chakravarty and Dr. Wajiha Mehtab. The team was welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Modi.
Program started with an Introduction to Celiac Support Organisation by Dr. Sushma Narayan. This was followed by a lecture on Celiac Disease by Dr. Naina Chakravarty. ‘Dietary Management of Celiac Disease’ was explained by Ms. Anuja Agarwala and Dr. Wajiha Mehtab.
Frequently asked questions were addressed and the questions from the audience were also taken. In his closing remarks, Dr. Modi said that it was very important that the young students understood the importance of proper management of Celiac Disease. The host team facilitated the guest team.
